I read many of Emerson's poems and essays during my school days. I LOVE Louisa May Alcott so I've read about them in biographies of her as well. It intrigues me that so many brilliant people lived together in one small town. I'm a follower.Laura's Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13904763940307902364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8011304218892238385.post-13827398766356047462018-03-10T07:18:06.935-08:002018-03-10T07:18:06.935-08:00I like those two writers as well, they are highly ...I like those two writers as well, they are highly quotable.<br />The premise of this book sounds unique and Abigail sounds like an interesting character. I am drawn to thinking about life during this period in England, since I have been watching "Victoria" on PBS, and the relationship of "downstairs" with "upstairs" which is quite different in England and here in the States. There must of been similar love stories between classes too. erikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400895428354309480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8011304218892238385.post-50428995413593322952018-03-07T05:22:32.479-08:002018-03-07T05:22:32.479-08:00I read Walden long ago and some of Emerson’s Essay...I read Walden long ago and some of Emerson’s Essays.
