Lust for Life

I feel as if I'm back in English class writing essays! I wonder, have I forgotten how to write properly? I'm now constantly looking things up and finding the need to edit posts. Luckily, you can edit published posts quite easily!

I'm using more exclamation points in my writing. I noticed recently that Joyce Carol Oates uses them frequently in her novel, We Were the Mulvaneys, to convey depth of feeling. We all do this in emails, using multiple exclamation points even, but it struck me as new and original in Oates' book. I like it! Isn't that what life's all about, anyway? Feeling, enthusiasm, lust for life, passion!
