Mailbox Monday

Last Monday, I didn't do this meme, although these two books actually arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I received This One Is Mine by Maria Semple from Gigi, and Cardboard: A Woman Left for Dead from the author, Fiona Place, who also sent me a couple of extra copies for giveaways. Please stay tuned for reviews and giveaways.

Hosted by Marcia from The Printed Page, Mailbox Monday is one of my favorite memes, where readers share the books they've recently acquired. Please feel free to join in the fun, but be forewarned: "Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists". What books arrived in your home recently, by mail or from elsewhere?

  1. I'm looking forward to your review of Cardboard. I didn't accept a copy because I'm trying to finish the review copies already on my shelf, but it sounded good.

  4. Anna and Beth, thanks for stopping by.

Vivienne, this blog has been having "picture problems" all morning. I don't know why, but I hope it's remedied soon.

    More comments welcomed.

  5. I had trouble seeing pictures, too, but fortunately the words came across perfectly! It's fun to receive more than one book in one's mailbox! Especially if some allow you to host a give away.

  8. A friend said she'll send me a copy of This one is Mine, and I'm over the moon. But I have to confess that for once, I'm not thinking in the rock and roll vein. The idea of the cardboard woman intrigues...
